"In memory of Anthony Philip Gairdner, Lt., 4th South African Infantry, 28.9.1923; of George Robert Lillico, L/Cpl., Royal Engineers. Somme, 16.2.1917; and of our Scout Elder Brethren of Ashington and Newbiggin." (Given by Dr. and Mrs F. Gairdner, Friends and Scouts.) Brass plaques (4) kept at Talbot House.
