Andere informatie

Information
Early 1916, Tubby managed to purchase a white prayer desk for the Chapel from A. Flamant. On 16.06.1916 he bought an unfinished carving of Leonardo da Vinci's 'Last Supper' from the sculptor for the sum of 75 francs. It was also to be put in the Chapel. For safety reasons Tubby took it to his parish, St Mary's at Portsea.
Information 2
In the autumn of 1930, after the House had been purchased by Lord Wakefield of Hythe, the fine carving found a permanent place on the newly panelled landing of the second floor.
Information 3
An identical carving, painted in white, signed by A. Flamant and dated 1891 can be found in the church of Pollinkhove.
