- On 26.07.1917 he was nominated by XVIII Corps to become Chairman of the Talbot House Committee. He was also a member of the House, Canteen and Finance Sub-Committees. He resigned in October. Dulcken also acted as Secretary of the Officers' Club (= postwar Skindles Hotel, Gasthuisstraat, Poperinge)
